TUNISIAN SECONDARY TEACHERS IN STRIKE FOR TWO DAYS...


The Tunisian secondary teachers have begun a strike of two days condemning the dissmisal of three of their colleagues and the fact of moving more than a 100 of teachers without any reasonable cause. "Just because of their political interests", declared some of the organising.
It was stated that the average of participating in the strike was between 60 to 70% on the national level, but 90% was registered in the city of Gabes, southern Tunisia.
The government denied that the move of the teachers was because of theor politocal affiliation.
It is reported that more than 350 teachers demonstrated in Tunis.
