SECRET TALKS BETWEEN SAUDI ARABIA & ISRAEL...

According to the Israeli newspaper "Yad3ot A7ranot", the Israeli Premier, Ehud Ulmurt, and the King Abdallah of Saudi Arabia, have talked about peace in the Middle East in the middle of the Israeli war on Lebanon. Until now there is no confirmation concerning that, but it was said that a Saudi prince from the saudi Royal Family, have met with Israeli officials!

THIS WEEK..

In the begining of this week, we have commeroted the fifth anniversary of the tragic 9/11, by the end of this week, I will, with almost 18 students from the Arab world, we will celebrate our first anniversary to visit the United States.
Being guests of the US Department of State and of the US Government, my visit was so special as much as no previous or later visit will be similar to.
Last year during this time, I was preparing my self to visit the USA. Briefing with the US Embassy staff, it seemed at the time, that they would let nothing to the chance.
It was a good experience.
Please share with me those moments of happiness and satisfaction, moments during which I met with special people, in special place.
And as you are special, too, when will we organize a meet-up?

HAPPY TO SEE TN-BLOGS AGAIN...

Finally tn-blogs is back! You cannot imagine how it was hard to me not follow your news for aproximatly two weeks. I was like a crazy man. I was able to join just few blogs.
This occasion requires a meet-up ;)

WHERE I HAVE BEEN SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 * WHERE I HAVE BEEN SEPTEMBER 11, 2005...

On September 11, 2001, I was in the Olympic Village in Rades. Tunisia was hosting the 14th edition of the Medittearnean Games. I was accompanying the Greek delegation.
On the evenning of September 11, 2001, we were stuck in front of the TV sets. Nobody might understand what happened by the time.
We shall ask ourselves after the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and after kidnapping soldiers in south Lebanon and bringing Lebanon into war. What did we win? Nothing.
Although the US foreign policy is aligned with Israel, I believe that nothing may justify the attacks of 9/11. Things are being harder, when you hear the name of "Mohamed" or the word "Allah" or "Islam", automatically you think in terrorism and hate. That is not our religion.
Thank you Bin Laden for giving us a big hole to see!

September 1, 1997 * September 1, 2006

"Never will I forget her", I said to the former UK Ambassador to Tunis at the time Richard Edis, who died years ago, because of Cancer. We were talking about Princess Diana 24 hours after her death.
His wife Mrs. genevieve Edis asked me to join the British Embassy to present my condolences to the British ambassador and the British royal Family. I will never forget my father too, May God Bless His Soul, who took the trouble and accompanied me from Bizerta to Tuni I was by the time 17 years old. September 1, 1997, I went to the British Embassy. At the same time, an immense sadness and sorrow over the Princess's death reigns over the world.
