كان المدوّنون في قلب ذكرى استشهاد جبران تويني و تسليم جائزته الدولية. فلقد تحدّث رئيس الجمعية الدولية للصحف عن المصاعب و المضايقات التي يشهدها الصحفيون و عدد من الصحف حول العالم و كيف أن ذلك الجو من المضايقات خلق و أسهم في انتشار ظاهرة التدوين التي تقوم بنشر الأخبار و الصور حول ما يجري من انتهاكات للديمقراطية و حقوق الانسان في دول العالم و كيف أن المدونين أنفسهم أصبحوا يقعون ضحية الحجب و التتبعات و المحاكمات

Bloggers and blogging were in the heart of Tueni's anniversary and of the granting of his international award. The chairman of the World association of Newspapers has talked about censures made under journalists and newspapers in differents countries around the world. He has clarified that that atmosphere of restrictions has helped to make appear blogs, blogging and bloggers to report what happen in sme countries from breach of Human Rights principles, absence of Democracy and Freedom. He has also talked about the problems faced by bloggers such as censorship of their blogs or even emprisonment.
