DIANA WARNED CAMILLA TO 'BACK OFF' OVER AFFAIR WITH PRINCE CHARLES

Late British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES was so angry at PRINCE CHARLES' affair with CAMILLA PARKER BOWLES, she once confronted her husband's mistress and warned her to stay away. The revelation by the Princess' hair stylist, Richard Dalton, comes shortly after the 10th anniversary of her death in a Paris car crash in 1997, and he claims Diana "couldn't understand" what Prince Charles saw in his former mistress. Dalton says, "It was hard for Diana to understand what Charles saw in Camilla. "I remember Diana telling me there were three people in her marriage and that she had confronted Camilla at one of the dinners they had - telling her to, 'Back off and leave my husband alone.' "She was really madly in love with Prince Charles, he was the love of her life. She was willing to do anything to make it work out. The only thing she could not tolerate was the one thing which would have allowed the marriage to continue - and that was to share Charles." Diana's divorce to the heir to the throne was finalised in 1996, ending 15 years of marriage. Prince Charles later went on to wed his mistress in April 2005. She is now known as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
