On the occasion of the chosen day, July 1st, to blog for the freedom of speech, I believe that this is time to shut down the Lebanese TV channels AL MANAR TV, NBN, Qatari channel AL JAZEERA and Hamas' channel AL AQSA. During the last days of what is happening in Nahr Al Barred and after the clashes registered between the Lebanese Army and some Palestinian refugees, AL MANAR & NBN have broadcasted news which harsh to the fraternity between Lebanese and Palestinians in order to make troubles in the area of Tripoli. It is an ashamed way to win a fight in the political debate with the majority. This is not ethical. I define it as using the Palestinian case in order to serve personal interests.
AL JAZEERA is not away of this.
I am also asking to shut down AL MANAR and AL AQSA because of the content of their programmes. They are always broadcasting programmes against Peace, and asking people to fight, to hate, to threat and to show their military strenght. For these reasons, these TV channnels MUST be shut downed.
