DIANA CRASH 'AN ACCIDENT'

The car crash which claimed the life of DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES in 1997 was an accident, an interim report by Britain's former top cop is expected to announce. Ex-Metropolitan police commissioner LORD STEVENS, who is leading the inquiry into the Paris tragedy, has found no evidence of foul play, reaching the same conclusion as the French investigation. Lord Stevens' two-year enquiry into the accident, which also claimed the lives of Diana's lover DODI FAYED and driver HENRI PAUL, is due to wrap up in the autumn (06), when a full report will be published.
